Curriculum Structure

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Curriculum

Greenwood International School follows the CBSE curriculum, which is known for its comprehensive and balanced approach to education. Our curriculum is designed to:

  • Provide a strong foundation in core subjects (Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, Hindi)

For Grades 11-12, we offer three streams:

  • Term Examinations: Half-yearly and annual examinations for comprehensive evaluation

  • Project Work: Individual and group projects to assess application of knowledge

Examination & Evaluation System

Continuous Assessment

Regular class tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects throughout the academic year contribute to 40% of the final grade.

Half-Yearly Examinations

Comprehensive exams conducted after the first term, covering 50% of the syllabus and contributing to 20% of the final grade.

Pre-Board Examinations

For Grade 10 and 12 students, full-length mock board exams to prepare for the final CBSE board examinations.

Final examinations covering the entire syllabus, contributing to 40% of the final grade for non-board classes.
